No promises

This picture may actually bring me back to blogging. Something has to- I can't believe half a year has gone by undocumented. What a tragedy. Why can't I seem to find the time and/or energy to blog this year?
I don't know.

Last week though I took this picture. The big kids wanted me to go on a bike ride with them around the neighborhood, so we asked Greg if he could just sit outside with Jackson while we were gone. Greg is not a big fan of being outside, especially this time of year when it's "buggy". So I came outside to leave for the ride and found Greg watching Jackson play from the comfort of his car. Serious? He couldn't just grab a chair to sit on in the driveway? The scene was so ridiculous I had to laugh- and take a picture of it of course- because it is so Greg. :)

There. I did it. I wrote a small post. Baby steps. Maybe I can get back in the habit.
Heaven knows I have lots to write about.
No promises, but maybe.

Sorry this baby step was made at your expense Greg. Love you. :)

PS I even did a quick post on The Garrick Gallery tonight!
I've got a lot to catch up on there too!

HURRAY!!!! What a classic picture! I love it. I love the expression on Jacksons face too. "Wow. This is fun." :) I am so happy to see your family again! :) Here's hoping!

Yay!!! Baby steps are good. I haven't been feeling very "bloggy" myself lately, but I'm glad for the post!

And that really is funny about Greg. It gave me a chuckle.

Hey, why not find the most comfortable place to sit. And anyway, who likes bugs! ;)
Very nice car, by the way.

Love you dad! YEA! a POST!!! I may even get one on Grandma's cookbooks soon too! Fun to see Jackson on a tricycle! :) Hyrum walked up and said "Like Anakin Skywalker" I asked who and he said pointing at the picture "that guy!" So I guess Jackson is like Anakin Skywalker to Hyrum. When we told him that Kobe and Uncle Greg were coming to see him he said "Kobe and Jackson?" We had to break it to him that he wasn't coming. :( Keep going Keep going!!

I agree....nice to see a post and baby steps are good! I can relate though. I'm waaay far behind on blogging too. I think I let Facebook get in the way!

My brother is a dork but I love him :) Hilarious that he would sit in the car to watch Jackson! Glad to see a post and don't be so hard on yourself. Life is busy and we have seasons when we can take the time to write, and others when it is just not gonna happen. Love ya!

Hooray for a new post from you!

This is just too funny--how long did he hang out in his car?

This is such a funny photo and I love that you documented it! I remember the sweltering heat of the East in summer and I totally get it. I'm right there with you, Greg!

I lost that sack on an American train, and was told by the conductor to go and look for it in a very insufficiently lighted van, where presently I came to grief over some hard object.
