Note to self:

This is why we should NOT give Jackson Dimetapp before bed.
It's after 2:30 am and I have been dragged down stairs by a very excited little boy who I've been trying to get to go back to sleep for 2 hours...

At least I don't have to drive to Utah tonight since that was his first plan! He's now (semi-)quietly watching Mickey's Twice Upon a Christmas. Here's hoping we can both doze off soon!

I am so tired!

**UPDATE** Next movie on the list was Mickey's Once Upon a Christmas, but then I insisted he go to bed after that. It was 4:30 am after all! He screamed and cried like I had just cut off his arms (although I'm sure I didn't because he kept hitting me with those arms.) He of course woke up the family in the process. I sent Kobe to sleep with Greg since I didn't know how long Jackson would be screaming. As soon as I laid down in bed with him he started giggling and giggling. ?! Within a few minutes we were both sound asleep. But I was up at 7 to get Jillie out the door- and had to wake up Jackson around 9 to take Kobe to school who'd missed the bus thanks to my falling back asleep! Here's hoping for nap today :)

This post makes me so tired! I don't feel as sorry for myself for having to wake up with Hyrum at 5 anymore. I thought Jackson was going to sleep better these days.

He usually sleeps fine- but not with a cough/cold and apparently Dimetapp!

Okay, so I know I shouldn't have been laughing for your sake, but that was very cute. He did not look tired AT ALL!!! I hope you managed a nap some time during the day or at least a better night the next night!!

OH Nikki....you are such the trooper...I am amazed at your stamina. And I agree with Greg you are a great mom.
May I just add...that Dimetap didn't work on any of my children either....they were climbing the walls...so I never gave it to them more than one time. You would have thought I would have learned with Greg...but no...I had to give them all a shot at the walls.
I am thinking Ambien....lol....too bad they don't have that for kids.

OH MY GOSH!! That is too sad... He is so adorable though, you have to admit. "Let's get our shoes on, drive in the car to BYU to watch GO COUGARS" Makes total sense at 2 in the morning. I mean what else would you do?? :) By the way- I know you didn't get to have a nap, did you? Boo Hoo....

And yes. You are a great mom, and sister, and friend...
